Bilingual social worker who can converse with women and families in their indigenous language to provide social services in the Lake Atitlan area of Guatemala; and capital support for construction of a social services operations center.  Partner: Porch de Salomon

Support for capital improvements and the camp director’s salary at a therapeutic camp in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala for inner city, impoverished, abused and/or exploited children. Partner: Niños del Lago

Shelter and services for girls who are homeless, abused, neglected, and/or victims of sex- trafficking in Guatemala and Nicaragua.  Partner: Covenant House International

Special grant support to help victims of the recent volcano eruption in Guatemala, including food, shelter and medical attention; and clinical services including a psychologist and social workers for victims and responders.  Partners: La Alianza de Guatemala (Covenant House- Guatemala) and God’s Child Project.

Additional classrooms for bilingual school for low-income children and scholarships for girls attending trade-school, including non-traditional fields (auto-mechanics, welding, industrial arts) in rural Honduras.  Partner: Lazos Education Fund/Nuevo Amanecer
